Double-Pitch Tunnel

The double-pitch tunnel cover solution is a variant with the most modern lines compared to the arc, and can be used for the cover of pedestrian passages of any size, but also for residential and industrial skylights, covers of large spaces in the version to multiple sectors, as well as for the protection of stairwells, underpasses and box.

Description

Designed for the cover of pedestrian passages of any size, it actually offers additional multiple applications: residential and industrial skylights, covers of large spaces in the version to multiple sectors, as well as for the protection of stairwells, underpasses and carports. A simple but well structured type, through a complete set of profiles and accessories that make up an extremely functional integrated system. The basic supply includes ribs and cover sheets, to be integrated with longitudinal profiles of sheet-retaining profiles, possible gutter channels, load-bearing structure with relative fixing plates and concealed joints, as well as with all accessories and materials for any slope changes, angles, opening sectors and infill walls. The system, elementary in its application, can also be supplied as an ASSEMBLY KIT and, where the size allows, ASSEMBLED.
Made with aluminium extrusions profiles (col. ox electrocolour NERO / ARGENTO, RAL 9010 White / 6005 Green / 8017 Brown / 3000 Red / 7016 Grey / 9006 Silver / 9005 matt black / GRIGIO ANTICO); cover with sheets in solid polycarbonate u.v protected with. NEUTRO / OPALE / BRONZO.
DOUBLE-PITCH version characterized by 30° Possible solution with a springing angle at 45° on request

TUNNEL double-pitch (30° or 45°) so made:

Metal frame completion in aluminium extrusions anodised / painted RAL, complete with:

  • Ribs type X1M / X3M, with Y joint, dim. mm. 50/70 x 15/18, ready for the insertion of double gaskets;
  • Sheet-retaining flat bars type X4P / X3P, dim. mm. 50/70 x 5, predisposed to insert double gaskets;
  • Ethylene propylene mix gaskets, black colour, Shore hardness 65 ± 5, type GSP3EC (p/mt gr. 55 ca.) / GSP8EC (p/mt.
  • Profiles of aluminium extrusions with an appropriate angle, complete with lattonerie di colmo e sottocolmo;
  • X10 / X13 / XMOB / X13 / two variable angle snout elements, with special grafting for setting the springing angle, or type XMDLAT / T80202RIF for holding sheets with embossing ribs, complete with appropriate section angle profile having the function of die;

Alternatively:

  • Side and/or intermediate Gutter channel in extruded XCANP type complete with XMOB type containment profile with two variable angle snout elements, with special coupling for setting the springing angle, complete with appropriate section angle profile having the function of die: The gutter channel will be complete with aluminium sp caps. 30/10.

Load-bearing structure in aluminium extrusions anodised / painted RAL:

  • 84 x 84 type XPIL sheet with rounded edges, with special hollows for inserting concealed joint type XINN52, or aluminium or carbon steel pillars appropriately dimensioned according to size;
  • XINN52 type grafting, for XCANP / XCANG or XPIL edge beam mounting;
  • Contoured wall anchoring sheets, complete with special concealed joints for fixing the XCANP gutter channel;

Cover with sheets in:  

  • Solid polycarbonate coextruded UV-protected, thickness suitable for bending radius and ribs spacing, colour NEUTRO / OPALE / BRONZO inserted in free slide; reaction to fire Class Bs1d0.
  • Multiwall polycarbonate coextruded UV-protected, thickness suitable for ribs spacing, colour NEUTRO / OPALE / BRONZO inserted in free slide; reaction to fire Class Bs1d0.
